This is probably the moist common thing I hear about, read about and experience myself. Clearly, it is a topic that we will revisit often. As we all 'Navigate Disability Road', whether from illness, injury or our bodies just wearing out, we all have to find a way to stay on the road. When you are in the middle of a struggle, it seems impossible that we will make it through. Yet, we are all given the tools, the vehicles, to successfully maneuver our way. You don't have to struggle alone. This goes for the caregivers, too! Share your burden!
I recently asked a home health nurse some of the most common issues that her patients are experiencing. She quickly responded by stating it is the struggle of physical loss and the emotional battle associated with those physical losses / changes / deterioration.
