People with Disabilities in the U.S.

        Just for fun [it turned out not to be], I went to our Census Bureau website to get the latest number of people with disabilities in our country. I just wanted the  number. As I have written in the 'Defining Disability'  page here at Navigating Disability Road, it all depends on how you define disability:
- Which age group
- Institutionalized or not
- Disabled or Severely Disabled
- Civilian or not
- Race, gender, etc.
- Communicative, mental and /or physical disability categories [domains]
- Qualify for more than one category
- Blah, blah, blah
        After viewing their 25 page document [click here to view it], I think that approximately 20% of people in our country are disabled. The current population is 316,000,000. That means that 1/5, or 63,200,000 people have a disability. I'm not sure what to do with that...
