Sometimes, no matter how much you want to help; no matter how much great advice you have; no matter how much comfort you make available; sometimes a person just has to go through the challenge and find there own way. Experience truly is an excellent teacher. As I watch friends around me struggle with injuries from an accident, chronic pain from arthritis, respiratory trouble from COPD, changes in function from degenerative disease, cognitive changes from Parkinson's; each person must find there way. Each one must walk the path of experience. However, each one does not walk that path alone.
